*** Important Information for use with ARCangel Prototyping System ***

To use an Ashling Emulator with the ARCangel3/4 Prototyping System, ensure that the ARCangel is configured as follows:

1. Switch 2 must be Off (serial).
2. Switch 5 must be On (alternate JTAG connection).  

Please consult your ARCangel documentation for further information.


*** Important Installation Information for USB Operation ***

If you get a  "New USB hardware found" message after you connect your Ashling Emulator to your PC using a USB cable, 
then direct the Hardware Installation Wizard to your installation directory so that it can locate the necessary drivers
 and complete the installation. Windows only needs to perform this operation the first time you connect your Ashling 
Emulator to your PC.  Microsoft Windows XP users can safely ignore any Windows generated warnings about the Ashling 
drivers not passing Windows Logo Testing.

1. Resolved issues with dual-core ARC600 and ARC700 designs on ARCangel4 Prototyping System.

For optimum download speed use the MetaWare Debugger "-memxfersize=32768" command line switch to transfer data to Opella 
in 32K packets. This switch is supported in v7.2.2 and later.
