Latest Driver Software for Ashling Opella-XD-ARC and Opella-ARC JTAG interfaces
Opella-XD-ARC and Opella-ARC Driver Software is available for download by registered and authorized users of Arcadi's Software Update and Support Service for Ashling ARC tools.
Please disconnect Opella-XD-ARC or Opella-ARC from your PC's USB port and remove the Opella-ARC power-supply (if connected) prior to upgrading. This will ensure that your Opella-XD-ARC or Opella-ARC internal hardware (FPGA) is automatically reprogrammed to the latest version when you reconnect after installing the new drivers.

Important Information for use with ARCangel Prototyping System
- To use the Ashling Opella-XD-ARC or Opella-ARC Emulators with the ARCangel-4
Prototyping System, the Configuration DIPswitch on the ARCangel-4 must be set as below. Please consult
your ARCangel documentation for further information.
- DIPswitch 2 OFF (select Passive serial CFG mode; factory-default is ON)
- DIPswitch 5 ON (select ARC JTAG communications on D15 connector; factory-default is OFF)
- To use the Ashling Opella-XD-ARC or Opella-ARC Emulators with the ARCangel-3 Prototyping System, the switches on the back panel of the ARCangel-3 must be set as below. Please consult your ARCangel documentation for further information.
- Switch 2 Off (select Serial mode)
- Switch 5 On (select Alternate DB15 JTAG connection)
